Mistakes are certain but we can make time and take action.
Like it or not your mistakes will shape and mould you, positively or negatively is determined by you.
No matter how hard you try to develop Who-What-Where Gratitude, no matter how good you are at using your TAGS and no matter how focused you are on your DAGA, you will still make mistakes. You are human and you are not nor ever will be perfect, so you will make mistakes but that is OK. How you respond and what you do next is what is most important.
There is a choice to face guilt or hide from it. Being brave and owning mistakes is the only way to grow and learn from them. Hiding from them can lead to a lifetime of running away as they have a habit of following you.
You can’t rewind the clock, you can’t hide away forever, but you can learn and try to amend your mistakes. Admitting errors and regrets takes courage. The courage to face the consequences is just a decision - a choice. Guilt owned and faced head-on enables you to thrive in a way you never can when you are weighed down by the guilt of past mistakes.
